Temporary Gallery for the Sculptural Installation "Der Mäzen“ [“The Patron”], Bayreuth

On the occasion of the Richard Wagner Festival in Bayreuth, the Temporary Gallery will open on site at Luitpoldplatz 9 on 24. July 2025.

Once again this year, conceptual artist Prof. Ottmar Hörl has developed a new sculpture for the Bayreuth Festival. This year there will be a sculpture of Ludwig II., which will be available in the Temporary Gallery after the installation opens on 25. July 2025 at a subscription price of 110 euros.

Besides the new sculpture by Ottmar Hörl, further sculptures and the Wagner sculptures from previous years will be available for purchase in the gallery from 24. July 2025.

The accompanying sculptural installation "Der Mäzen" ["The Patron"] can be seen on the Green Hill in Bayreuth from 25. July 2025 to 26. August 2025.

The new Ludwig II. sculpture is expected to be available to order in the online shop from 28. August 2025.

Due to the high demand, there may be longer waiting times.
