Sculptural Installation "WÖLFE IN DER STADT" ["WOLVES IN THE CITY"], Kalkar

25 wolves by conceptual artist Prof. Ottmar Hörl will adorn the Jacobuswall in Kalkar from 25. May 2024. The sculptural installation "Wolves in the city" is a cooperative art project by studio20.21/ Galerie am Markt and the city of Kalkar.

With the project "Wolves in the City", Professor Ottmar Hörl has developed an installation that addresses the current topic -the return of wolves- in the form of serial wolf sculptures. The collection of wolves in the Jacobuswall metaphorically embodies the convergence of humans and wolf and translates this into an impressive image.

Professor Ottmar Hörl's wolves are an invitation to interact and reflect, bringing us closer to a topical and controversial subject.

The installation can be seen from 25. May 2024 to 6. October 2024 at Jacobuswall in Kalkar.
