XXL-Sculptures, "Worldview Models"

With his "Worldview Models", Ottmar Hörl has created a distinctive series of works that uniquely combine art and philosophy. The first serial model was created as part of an art installation in Wuppertal at the invitation of the Carl Montag Foundation.

Since then, Hörl has developed numerous variations that enjoy great popularity internationally. In collaboration with Samuelis Baumgarte Art Consulting, which was responsible for the artistic design of the cruise ship "AIDAsol" in 2011, two impressive large-scale sculptures of the "Worldview Model IV (Comment on Beuys)" were created, a powerful symbol of global dialogue through art. And so, the two-colour, larger-than-life sculptures have been accompanying the guests of the "AIDAsol" on their travels across the world's oceans ever since.

One of the highlights of renowned private collections is the large sculpture "Worldview Model III". Even three-time Olympic champion and two-time world champion Maria Höfl-Riesch owns one of these limited-edition pieces. However, they offer opportunities for numerous interpretations and transform any garden or public space into an inspiring place.
