Swabian Art Summer 2026

For the 38th time, the Schwabenakademie Irsee invite artists and highly qualified amateurs from all over Germany to a one-week summer academy from 01. August 2026 to 09. August 2026.

The masterclasses, led by renowned artists, offer intensive work in small groups under the motto "Living Art".

Among others, Ottmar Hörl will also lead a master class during the 2026 Art Summer.

Convincing sculptures are created through the conscious, contextually comprehensible use of materials and their properties. In Ottmar Hörl's master class, experimental approaches are tested, new perspectives developed and individual strengths promoted. The work is done with everyday materials from the hardware store. The number of participants is limited to 10.

Conditions of participation: Prior knowledge of three-dimensional design, enthusiasm for experimental work, openness to new approaches and thought processes.

Application documents: A maximum of five images of your own work. A brief artistic biography.

The deadline for applications is 26. April 2026.
