The conceptual artist Ottmar Hörl realises the sculptural installation entitled "Garten der Sterne" ["Garden of Stars"] to mark Europa-Park's 50th anniversary.
Stars are one of the oldest signs of orientation and are often seen as protective symbols. The star is said to symbolise light in the darkness, hope and eternity.
Ottmar Hörl makes an impressive statement with 100 golden stars. The installation, located in the historic castle park, invites visitors to think about the European idea and its everyday significance.
This is a special highlight for Europa-Park in its anniversary year: "It is a great honour for us that an internationally renowned artist like Ottmar Hörl is dedicating such an impressive installation to Europa-Park to celebrate its 50th anniversary. Our European identity is in our blood; due to our close proximity to France, Switzerland and Austria, we were practically born with it." , says Europa-Park owner Roland Mack.
The sculpture "Star" can only be purchased from our project partner, Europa-Park.
The installation can be seen at Europa-Park until the end of 2025.
